Andrew Davies

Andrew has 17 years of experience working at a senior level in health related fields within the NHS, private sector and voluntary sector in England and Wales.

In his role as Policy and Development Manager at the Employers’ Unit, Andrew supports the effective organisation of the Unit’s activities, including the management of projects relating to NHS workforce development.  He works closely with Workforce & Organisational Development Directors, senior health professionals, Welsh Assembly Government officials and staff representatives to provide specific expertise relating to organisational development, change management, project management, employee relations and employment law.

Prior to his appointment at the Employers’ Unit, Andrew’s previous NHS experience included senior management roles in corporate governance, project management and service modernisation at Newport LHB.

Andrew has also been General Manager for Primecare Wales, a commercial Out of Hours primary care provider, and was Operations Director at Diabetes UK where he led on the successful change in corporate identity and culture.
