Aim and Purpose of event
The Learning Seminars will be highly interactivve and informative events, which will develop the awareness levels and understanding of Citizen Engagement at Executive Board level in NHS Wales.
Learning Seminar content will include:
* The national context
* What do we mean by effective people and patient engagement
* The role of the Executive Board in engaging with stakeholders
* Investment in staff - developing engagement champions across LHBs and Trusts
* The challenge of cultural change with LHBs and Trusts - barriers and solutions
Best practice sharing events are an excellent means of stimulating thought about serious issues whilst motivating people by hearing positive case studies.
