Dr Gwyn Roberts has been a GP in Wrexham for nearly 20 years. Since 1999 he was Chair of Wrexham LHG and now chairs Wrexham Local Health Board. Prior to going into practise he worked in hospital medicine for many years. Like many GPs he recognises the importance of the emerging problem of diabetes within our communities and the necessity for an effective management strategy for this problem.
