Neil Desmond
Neil is the Corporate Support Manager for LHBs and Trusts in Wales. Neil has worked in the NHS since 1996. Prior to his current role, Neil was seconded from the National Public Health Service Local Public Health Team in Rhondda Cynon Taff, to an all Wales joint strategic partnership post between LHBs and Local Government based with the Welsh Local Government Association in Cardiff.
Neil leads the corporate support agenda of the Health Boards and NHS Trusts in Wales, via the Chairs, Vice-Chairs and Chief Executives in order to enable the delivery of corporate NHS objectives. This includes acting as a central liaison and communication point between all NHS organisations in Wales, promoting effective partnerships between them, and with local government and the Welsh Assembly Government.
