Political Work
Influencing politics – the voice of NHS organisations

The political process directly affects the climate in which our members work. As well as responding to government policies and consultations, we try to shape and influence policy at the stage of formulation.
We talk directly to politicians, from all parties, in the National Assembly and at Westminster, and by working in partnership with other key health stakeholders to raise awareness on issues that are important to our members.
The very nature of political lobbying work means that much of it is carried out behind the scenes and in confidence. We also closely monitor Assembly business for any health related policies or debates, which may impact on the work of our members.
