Siân Pugh
Siân has over six years’ experience of media and communications work in the NHS in Wales.
Her role at the Welsh NHS Confederation involves co-ordinating the press and communications work of the Confederation, which includes securing coverage for the NHS in Wales to demonstrate how it is changing and improving, monitoring the media, health and political landscape for the latest developments and upcoming issues, and working with communications leads across NHS Wales to support the communication of the strategic direction of health services across Wales as a whole.
Prior to her appointment at the Welsh NHS Confederation in 2008, Siân worked in the busy press office at Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust and as a fundraising officer for the Noah’s Ark Appeal. She has a degree in Journalism, Film and Broadcasting from Cardiff University's highly regarded School of Journalism.
