Our media work includes briefing TV and radio journalists, producers and researchers on key issues. Sometimes we go to them with ideas, and sometimes they come to us. In all cases, we work closely with them to help ensure that the key issues are aired, and in an informed and balanced way.

This feature, on the news of a "moratorium" on hospital changes, led the Wales Today evening programme.It takes up some of the issues highlighted by the Confederation and includes a comment from chairman Simon Jones.

We gave an official response to the moratorium news, saying that "any pause must be short" and that "we cannot hold back the tide of change". We highlighted the European Working Time Directive as one of the most pressing reasons for change.
Our intervention formed the basis of the story, with an interview with Director Mike Ponton. Again, it was lead story on Wales Today.
