Originally from Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley, following University Wyn bacame a Wessex Regional Finance Trainee qualifying as a CIPFA accountant in 1984.Following a number of finance roles in Dyfed,Salisbury and Wrexham, he became the Director of Finance of the North Wales Ambulance NHS Trust in 1994.
In 1999 he joined North Wales HA as General Manager for Conwy Local Health Group, becoming Chief Executive of Conwy LHB in APril 2003. Wyn represents N Wales on the HCW Commissioning Board and all Wales LHBs on the Welsh Risk Pool.
